Billing our wounded vets?

Honestly, I’ve never been to found of how the government here in the US treats our military veterans. You know, the guys and gals that put their lives on the line every day for the defense of our country. Imagine my shock when I read the headline on CNNs webpage about an army vet being billed $3,000 for his medical bills due to a wound he received in Iraq.

I’m annoyed and disappointed in this country and government. Are vets should be giving the utmost respect and care when they need to visit doctors for wounds they received while fighting for our country. Health care aside, I see a lot of veterans who are homeless in the state of Arizona. I don’t think that is right either.

Take a look at the article for yourself on the CNN page.
